Meal

The students are served with wholesome nutritional veg and non-veg meals in the spacious dining hall.

Dormitories

The students live in spacious dormitories under the watchful care of senior teachers who are also their guardian, friendly mate and Resident Counsellor.

Prayer hall /a recreation room/ outdoor and indoor sports’ zone: An in-house games’ room as well as a recreation room is created to allow students to unwind after school hours. TV and newspapers in Bangla and English are provided to the students to stay in touch with the outside world.

Laundry and Cleaning: The hostel complex has the services of matrons, dormitory assistants, cleaners and laundry men.

Outdoor Recreation: Students are taken for a picnic once in a while to beat the monotony of hostel life.

Activities: Students are given their choice of pleasure activities to satisfy their creative urge.

A cold storage, bakery, water coolers are made available to the students on their choice.

Sports

JVBS provides a good number of sports and games for its students such as football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, cricket, table-tennis, and varieties of indoor games.

Securities & Safety

A good security system is set up covering the entire campus to ensure safety of the students and staff alike. Guards are stationed at every building besides digital CCTV surveillance and biometrics.

Medical

A medical Centre with qualified personnel for health check-up and treatment 24/7.

Parents Day

It is held once a month on Fridays, which is notified well in advance. Parents and guardians are encouraged to see wards and interact with teachers and other staff members.

Plans for Future

The school has plans which would be put in action shortly.

• A swimming pool to be built inside the campus.
• A cycling track to be carved out in the green patch of land.
• A vegetable garden to be made to allow our students gain practical experience of the ‘know-how’ of agriculture and thereby give them a life experience as they get familiar with the joys of farming and the practical difficulties involved in farming.
• A Holiday School' – Senior students of the school tutoring the children of 4th class employees.
• Getting a high-speed internet connection to enable students to do research work.
